Compliance Officer & Disability Support Worker

With an incredible 30 years of experience in the disability and community services sector, Karen brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion and practical experience to her role as Compliance Officer and Disability Support Worker at Flourishing Lives Disability Services.

Throughout her career, Karen has worked across a diverse range of roles, including disability support, compliance, operations, house management, group activities, community participation and in-home support. This extensive frontline and operational experience has given Karen a strong understanding of what quality support looks like in practice — not just on paper.

Karen is particularly passionate about NDIS compliance and the NDIS Practice Standards, and believes that strong compliance should ultimately translate into better, safer and more meaningful outcomes for the people we support. She is committed to ensuring services are delivered with integrity, accountability and a genuine focus on each individual's rights, choices and goals.

At the heart of Karen's work is a genuine passion for supporting people with disability to live fulfilling lives, maintain their independence and receive the quality of support they deserve.

Karen's combination of 30 years of industry experience, strong compliance knowledge and genuine passion for people makes her a valued member of the Flourishing Lives team.

Outside of work, Karen loves spending quality time with her children and grandchildren, who are an incredibly important part of her life.
