Michelle Taylor
Community Team Leader for HunterFrom hairdressing scissors to helping hearts, Shell has always been passionate about making people feel valued and cared for. With a Diploma in Community Services, Mental Health First Aid certification, and ongoing studies in Advanced Mental Health, she brings compassion, understanding, and a genuine desire to support others.
Shell joined the disability sector 16 months ago, inspired by her good friend Joanne Spanner, and quickly knew she had found where she was meant to be. Since then, she has embraced every opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the people she supports.
Shell loves celebrating the moments that matter — whether it’s seeing someone achieve a personal goal, build confidence, or simply enjoy their day. She takes the time to understand what makes each person unique and brings warmth, encouragement, and kindness to every interaction.
Outside of work, Shell’s world is filled with family, laughter, and adventure. As a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren, life is always full of love (and a little bit of chaos!). She enjoys cruising, spending time with loved ones, and her annual Christmas tradition of watching Love Actually.
Shell’s goal is simple: to continue spreading positivity, uplifting others, and creating moments where people feel supported, valued, and empowered to flourish.
