A new chapter, a fresh identity, and a brand that reflects who we are becoming.
Before a flower blooms, it begins as a small bud full of potential and possibilities when given the right conditions to grow. For Flourishing Lives, our journey has been much the same. What started as a small bud has grown through genuine connections, streamlining best practices, and our commitment to the people we support.
We’ve freshened up our brand to reflect how Flourishing Lives has grown, who we are today, and where we want to go next. From the beginning, we’ve believed that everyone is different. We all have our own strengths, interests, experiences, goals, and dreams, so why should support look the same for everyone?
For us, genuine support means getting to know the person, understanding what matters to them, and creating the right environment for them to grow. Just like a flower, people flourish when they have the right care, connection, and support around them.
We wanted our new brand to capture that feeling.
A fresh perspective, created together
Bringing this vision to life was a really exciting part of our journey. Working closely with Director Matt, 123 Creative Australia played a pivotal role in helping us shape a brand that feels like a true reflection of Flourishing Lives.
It wasn't about changing who we are. It was about finding a way to better how our supports and vision have evolved.
We wanted the new identity to feel bright, welcoming, energetic, inclusive, and multidimensional. While the brand is cohesive and considered, we intentionally stepped outside traditional design conventions to create something more distinctive, reflecting the individuality, diversity, and uniqueness of the people we support.
Colour that ‘makes the brain feel good’
Colour has always been an important part of the Flourishing Lives identity, so we didn’t want to completely reinvent the palette. Instead, we wanted to build on what was already there. Purple remained a key player, keeping a strong connection to the existing brand while introducing a few new shades to give the palette more depth and richness. We also brought in contrasting pastel tones to soften the overall look and create more dimension across the brand.
We wanted the colours to create a positive feeling something that catches your eye, lifts your mood, and makes the brand feel welcoming, energetic, and full of possibility. We wanted a brand that doesn't just look good but makes the brain feel good to.
The Chrysanthemum: A symbol of our story
The Chrysanthemum has always been an important part of the Flourishing Lives story, so it was important to us that the flower continued to have a place in our new identity.
For those who may not know, the Chrysanthemum also holds a special personal meaning for Director Matt. It was his grandmother’s favourite flower. This makes its place within Flourishing Lives even more meaningful, connecting the brand to family, love, and the people who have helped shape who we are.
Rather than making the chrysanthemum the centre of everything, we’ve chosen to weave it more subtly throughout the new brand. It’s a beautiful reminder that, with the right support, connection, and environment around us, we all have the opportunity to grow into who we’re meant to be.
More than a new look
For us, this rebrand isn't simply about looking different. It's about showing more of who we are. Flourishing Lives started as a small bud, and through the support of our team, the people we work alongside, our families, stakeholders, and the wider community, we’ve continued to grow.
We’re incredibly proud of how far Flourishing Lives has come, but we know there is still so much more to grow into.
