We are seeking a mature-aged housemate to join a warm and easy-going home through 1:2 Supported Independent Living (SIL) support.
This is an opportunity to share a home with someone who values connection, laughter, and enjoying the little things in life.
About Your Potential Housemate 💜
Your new housemate is a kind-hearted, fun-loving person with a great sense of humour and a big personality.
She is completely blind, uses a wheelchair, and has an amputation, meaning she values having the right support around her to continue living life on her terms. She attends dialysis three times a week and enjoys taking time to rest and recharge after treatment.
Despite this, she loves staying connected, getting out into the community, and making the most of life.
Her favourite things include:
Music and movies
Arts and crafts
Dragons and birds
Friday night social outings
Going to raffles on Fridays and Sundays
Spending time with friends and family
She also has a beautiful little bird who is very friendly and quiet, as well as fish that she loves caring for.
(And yes… she’s known for having a cheeky sense of humour! )
